On 06-09-18, at 1:23 p.m., officers responded to Frontier Park, located at 2163 Elizondo Street regarding a report of a male subject attempting to hang himself. When Senior Officer Wismar arrived on scene, he observed the subject hanging from a tree branch. Senior Officer Wismar cut the rope that was wrapped around the tree branch and got the subject onto the ground. He removed the rope from the subject's neck and started chest compressions. The subject started breathing and opened his eyes. During this time, the Ventura County Fire Department and AMR personnel arrived on scene and took over patient care. The 22-year-old male subject was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
