In an effort to make the 4th of July holiday safe and enjoyable for everyone in the City of Pomona, the Pomona Police Department will be taking a zero tolerance approach to the illegal possession, use, sales or distribution of fireworks. All fireworks are illegal in the City of Pomona, to include Safe and Sane.
Pomona police will be deploying extra resources on the weekend of 4th of July to enforce firework laws. Fine for possession, use, sales or distribution of fireworks can be as much as $1,000.
