Today we were made aware of a recent scam call going around. A ComEd Scam number is calling residents claiming that their bill is 3 months overdue and if it is not paid they will shut off power to the house in 30 minutes. In order to "pay" the bill they ask that you get a MoneyPack prepaid gift card and call them back with the card information. The call comes from a 312 area code.
