The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a
* Flood Advisory for... Western Nueces County in south central Texas... Northeastern Jim Wells County in south central Texas... Northwestern Kleberg County in south central Texas...
* Until 445 AM CDT.
* At 245 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen in some locations, but general amounts are between 1.5 to 2.0 inches.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... western Kingsville, Alice, Orange Grove, Ben Bolt, Sandia, Alfred-South La Paloma, Alfred, Westdale, Agua Dulce, Pernitas Point and Lake Alice. Additional rainfall of 1.0 to 2.0 inches is expected over the area within the next few hours. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: KLEBERG

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
