**UPDATE** #LASD SEB Responding to Armed Barricaded Suspect, 1900 blk W. Pepper St., Alhambra

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) members have concluded their response to assist the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Parole Compliance Team in the containment of an armed barricaded suspect.

The incident concluded on the 1900 block of West Pepper Street, Alhambra, at approximately 4:10 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2018.  

After several hours and verbal attempts by Crisis Negotiations Team members to persuade the suspect to surrender, the suspect exited the residence and surrendered peacefully.

No firearms were recovered at the location.   
 
No Deputies were injured during this incident. 
 
The area was deemed safe and all neighborhood evacuees were allowed to return to their homes.

INCIDENT:  Armed Barricaded Suspect
 
DATE/TIME:  Wednesday, June 20, 2018 / 11:40 a.m.
 
LOCATION:  1900 block of West Pepper Street, Alhambra
 
SUSPECT:  Male Adult
 
UNIT:  Special Enforcement Bureau
 
NARRATIVE:
On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at approximately 11:40 a.m. Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) Special Weapons Team, has responded to the 1900 block of West Pepper Street, Alhambra, regarding an armed barricaded suspect.
 
SEB deputies have assumed command of the tactical response. The Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT), LASD Parole Compliance Team, LASD Temple Station personnel, LASD Aero Bureau, and Alhambra Police Department are assisting on scene to bring this to a peaceful resolution.
