Narrative:

On 06/18/2018, a carjacking and robbery occurred in the area of Deer Creek Road, north of Pacific Coast Highway, in the unincorporated area of Ventura County.
At about 4:00 a.m., an adult male was ordered out of his vehicle at gunpoint by two male suspects. The suspects used force to take the victim’s personal property and vehicle. The victim received minor injuries during the incident which were later treated at a local hospital.
Deputies from the Camarillo Police Station and detectives from the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau responded to the area to conduct an investigation. Within a few hours, one suspect was identified as (S) John Martin.
On 06/19/2018, detectives from the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau, Sheriff’s Narcotics Bureau, and Sheriff’s Special Crimes Unit located Martin in the City of Oxnard. Martin was contacted and detained. Evidence related to the incident was located in Martin’s possession and he was arrested for one felony count of carjacking and one felony count of robbery.
On 06/19/2018, the victim’s vehicle was located by officers from the Ventura Police Department in the City of Ventura. Colin Moore was contacted in the driver’s seat of the stolen vehicle. Shortly thereafter, Moore was identified as the second suspect involved in the carjacking/robbery. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed additional evidence related to the incident and Colin Moore was arrested for one felony count of carjacking and one felony count of robbery.
On 06/19/2018, detectives from the Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 1900 block of Fisher Drive in Oxnard in an effort to locate additional evidence related to the robbery and carjacking. During the warrant service, detectives located evidence linking John Martin to the crime and over a half a pound of crystal methamphetamine. Adrienne Endevoets was contacted inside the residence and arrested for one felony count of possession for sale of a controlled substance.
On 06/20/2018, detectives from the Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of South “K” Street in Oxnard in an effort to locate additional evidence related to the robbery/carjacking. During the warrant service, over one pound of crystal methamphetamine, over five ounces of tar heroin, and over ten grams of cocaine were found. Hortencia Espinoza was contacted inside the residence and arrested for two felony counts of possession for sale of controlled substances.
All four arrestees were booked into the Pre-Trial Detention Facility. Martin and Moore remain in custody while Endevoets and Espinoza have been released on bail bonds.
