SUSPECT: Jillian Catherine Wolcott, 35-year-old San Jose resident
VEHICLE: Gold 1994 Oldsmobile 98 sedan
On June 14, 2018, at approximately 3:00 P.M., the Milpitas Police Department received a call of a hit & run collision that just occurred on East Calaveras Boulevard near Town Center Drive. The caller saw a gold Oldsmobile sedan rear-end a gray Toyota Camry and then leave the area. The caller provided a detailed description of the fleeing Oldsmobile, including the license plate number and that it went southbound on Piedmont Road. Based on the timely information provided by the caller, an officer saw the Oldsmobile continue southbound on Piedmont Road into San Jose. The officer stopped the Oldsmobile and noticed the driver, Jillian Wolcott, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, and the passenger had minor injuries from the collision. The driver of the gray Toyota Camry that was rear-ended sustained minor injuries from the hit & run collision. Wolcott was booked into the Santa Clara County main jail for felony DUI and felony hit and run due to the injuries sustained by the other people.
