A Flash Flood Watch is in effect in Culpeper County until late tonight, and that means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding.
Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
Do not walk, swim, or drive through flood waters. Turn Around, Don’t Drown!
Just six inches of moving water can knock you down, and one foot of moving water can sweep your vehicle away.
