DATE/TIME OF INCIDENT: Friday, June 22, 2018, at 10:20 p.m.
INCIDENT: BURGLARY, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, and UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
LOCATION: 13500 Block of Camelia Road, in Victorville
SUSPECT: Donny Lee Trimble, 35-year-old, Transient
VICTIM: Female adult, 51-year-old, of Victorville

SUMMARY:

On Friday, June 22, 2018, at 1:22 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to 911 call in the 13500 block of Camelia Road in Victorville.

The victim arrived home and found her front door partially open. The victim walked to her bedroom and found a black male adult laying naked under the bed with his back towards her. The victim ran out of her house to a neighbor’s residence and called 911. The neighbors ran to the victim’s house, pulled the suspect outside, and detained him until law enforcement arrived.

The suspect, Donny Lee Trimble, is a sex registrant out of the City of Ontario, showed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of narcotics. Trimble gained entry into the residence by prying a screen off an unlocked window. While inside the residence, Trimble took a pair of sweatpants and put them on. He also removed an iPad from a different room in the victim’s home, which deputies located under the bed where Trimble was observed. Trimble was found in possession of illegal narcotics.

Trimble was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. Trimble bail was set $75,000.00.
