*UPDATE* #LASD - Homicide Respond to a Shooting Death Investigation, 10000 Block Long Beach Blvd., Lynwood
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult which occurred on Sunday, June 25, 2018, at approximately 2:00 a.m., on the 10000 block of Long Beach Boulevard, Lynwood.
Homicide detectives have learned that while on routine patrol a deputy from Century Sheriff’s Station observed a suspicious vehicle parked on the West curb line of Long Beach Boulevard. When the deputy contacted the driver he observed the victim was suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper torso.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect information and the motive is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available.
