Fire Flow Test on Hillrise Circle will be Thursday 
Las Cruces Utilities will conduct a fire flow test from 10 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.Thursday, June 28 on a fire hydrant on Hillrise Circle.
The affected areas will include the intersection of Telshor Boulevard and Missouri Avenue, north to Foothills Road, and streets east of Telshor Boulevard between Missouri Avenue and Foothills Road.
Residents may notice discolored water due to iron, manganese and calcium deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, City officials recommends waiting for water lines to clear before washing laundry.
The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, residents should flush all faucets in their house for five minutes. If the discoloration remains, call Las Cruces Utilities at 575/526-0500 for assistance.
