Organized ground search efforts for James Holub concluded this evening. He remains missing and endangered.

Organized ground search efforts by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, HIlton Head Island Fire Rescue and Hilton Head Plantation Security for missing and endangered person, 75-year-old James Holub, concluded this evening. Mr. Holub was last seen in Hilton Head Plantation midafternoon on Thursday, June 28th, and remains missing and endangered. The Sheriff's Office Aviation Unit will continue to monitor the area of the Whooping Crane Pond Conservancy—where Mr. Holub was last seen—over the next several days. 

Mr. Holub's family and friends are concerned for his safety and ask anyone who may have information on his whereabouts to please call the Sheriff's Office Emergency Dispatch at 843-524-2777. A flyer with a photograph of Mr. Holub is attached to this advisory.
