FREE Shuttle service to the waterfront is available to the public at 3:00 p.m. from the following locations: Perth Amboy Public Library (196 Jefferson Street), the Perth Amboy Train Station (259 Smith Street), Jefferson Street Parking Deck (151 Jefferson Street).  

All Streets south of Lewis Street will CLOSED at 6:00 p.m.

Residents who live south of Lewis Street will have to provide proof of address for access to local streets.  Guests of residents will not be able to drive or park their vehicles on these closed streets

Free meter parking after 5:00 p.m. in the downtown district and public parking lots

TRAFFIC ADVISORY

High Street from Smith Street to Sadowski Parkway will be open only to neighborhood residents with proof of address after 6:00 p.m.

All traffic South of Lewis Street will be closed to the public

Sadowski Parkway (both sides) and Water Street (East Side), Lewis St. to the Raritan Bay Yacht Club, Water St. Both Sides from High St. to Lewis St. will be posted as NO PARKING. Road will be closed to traffic at 6:00 pm

Lewis Street will be One Way going West from High Street to Second Street; only open to local traffic

Paterson Street will be One Way going East from Second Street to State Street; only open to local traffic.

Sadowski Parkway will be closed at 3:00 p.m. west of High to Brighton Ave.

SAFETY ADVISORY

No public drinking, no swimming, no fishing and no parking where signs are posted, you will be ticketed and towed.

State Law prohibits the use of civilian aerial fireworks. Please see flyer for what is prohibited and allowed.

Pets and fireworks are strongly discouraged from being present during the fireworks performance.  This is for both their safety and the safety of the general public.

Fishing on piers will be closed at 6:00 p.m. on July 3rd and reopened at midnight.
