JULY 3RD FIREWORKS SHOW & TRAFFIC ADVISORY / 3 DE JULIO ESPECTACULO DE FUEGOS ARTIFICIALES Y AVISO DE TRAFICO Join thousands of families at the Marina Bay Park on July 3rd, 2018 for the annual fireworks show in celebration of Independence Day. The event is free, safe and fun for the family to enjoy. *** Traffic Advisory: Marina Area Every year, thousands flock to the marina area to enjoy the annual fireworks show. With that, vehicular traffic in the immediate area will be congested. The affected streets are Marina Bay Parkway, Regatta Blvd, Marina Way South, Harbor Way South and all the streets that are in the vicinity. We urge local residents to plan ahead as cars will be parked along the aforementioned streets and all area parking lots will be used to accommodate the volume of cars. We expect traffic congestion to be at its highest level between 5:30 PM and 10 PM. If you plan to have visitors that evening, please have them arrive at your residence before 5 PM or they will have extreme difficulty getting to their destination. When the streets and parking lots reach capacity, the streets will be closed. ONLY LOCAL RESIDENTS WITH PROPER IDENTIFICATION will be allowed into the closed streets so they can drive home, but please be patient with with our staff during that process. We thank you in advance. *** Traffic Advisory: Canal Blvd. Due to private events at Riggers Loft and the SS Red Oak Victory ship, Canal Blvd will only be limited to the event attendees. We highly recommend not driving to the area unless you have tickets for the private events. The Bay Trail will still be open to foot and bicycle traffic. ### Fireworks are dangerous and illegal. The explosions harm or scare veterans with PTSD, people diagnosed with mental or emotional disabilities, pets, and young children. Our officers will be out in force and if you are caught possessing or igniting fireworks, you risk being issued a citation or being arrested. *** Spanish Version *** 3 DE JULIO ESPECTACULO DE FUEGOS ARTIFICIALES Y AVISO DE TRAFICO Unase a miles de familias en el parque Marnia Bay el 3 se Julio de 2018 para el espectaculo annual de fuegos artificiales en celebracion del Dia de la Independencia. El evento es gratis, sano y divertido para disfritar con la familia. *** Aviso de Trafico: Area de la Marina Cada año miles de personas acuden al area del puerto para disfrutar del espectáculo anual de fuegos artificiales. Con eso, tráfico de vehículos en la area inmediata estará congestinado. Las calles afectadas son Marina Bay Parkway, Regatta Boulevard, Marina Way South, Harbor Way South y todas las calles que se encuentran en los alrededores. Le pedimos a los residentes locales a planificar con antipacion, ya que los automóviles se estacionarán a lo largo de las calles antes mencionadas y todos los estacionamentos se usarán para acomodar el volumen de antomóviles. Esperamos que la congestión de tráfico este en su nivel mas alto entre las 5:30 p.m y 10 p.m. Si planea recibir visitas por la trade, pídales que lleguen a su residencia antes de las 5 p.m o tendrán extrema dificultad para llegar a su destino. Cuando las calles y estacionamentos alcancen su capacidad, las calles se cerrarán. SOLO RESIDENTES LOCALES CON IDENTIFICACION ADECUADA podran entrar a las calles cerradas para conducir a sus casas.
