HCSO Investigators Charge Man In Series Of Exposure Cases.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Child Abuse Unit investigators have arrested a 23-year-old man who has groped and exposed himself to females in the Copperfield area over the last few months.

Investigators charged Jeremy Devon Hollins (03/27/95) with indecency with a child/exposure a third degree felony.

On Saturday January 20, 2018, a 16 year old juvenile female was walking her dog along the walking path of Horsepen Creek when an unknown black male grabbed her and slapped her buttocks two times, and eventually exposed himself to her before she was able to break free and flee the scene.

A few days later on January 23, 2108, a black male entered a business located in the 7700 block of Cherry Park Drive in the Copperfield area and assaulted a female employee by groping her several times behind the business counter.

The male claimed his name was “Devon”. The incident was reported to law enforcement with a description of the male.

Due to the close proximity and time between these two events, deputies in Copperfield were provided descriptions and advised to be on alert for similar types of incidents.

On June 13, 2018, deputies responded to a suspicious persons call at the same business where the assault occurred on January 23, 2018.

Hollins had entered the same business as before and was harassing the female employees there.

The deputy issued a criminal trespass warning.

Deputy investigator T. Tribbett of HCSO Child Abuse Unit was assigned to the prior indecent exposure case and was provided with this new information.

He was able to reach the complainant in the walking path case and developed a photo lineup.

The victim was able to identify him , as the one who groped her and exposed himself .

Hollins was arrested at his residence in the 8500 block of Lake Crystal drive.

Additional charges are expected, as investigators are presenting their finding in other related cases to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
