All inbound traffic utilizing Fairgrounds Drive will be closed at 9:00 PM for the Anderson Explodes event on July 3, 2018. Fairgrounds Drive is located directly west of the Shasta District Fairgrounds and is intersected by several residential streets.

The closure of Fairgrounds Drive has been included in the Anderson Police Department’s event traffic plan for a number of years. The intent of this press release is to remind all motorists that vehicular access onto Fairgrounds Drive will be denied starting at 9:00 PM. The closures will stay in effect until the conclusion of the event.
