Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident in Downtown Morgan Hill.
On Wednesday, July 4th, 2018, at about 9:00pm, a 20 year old San Jose woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Monterey Rd. and W. 3rd St.
The woman abruptly attempted to cross the street when she was struck by an SUV traveling southbound. Police and Fire personnel immediately responded to the scene and the female was transported to Regional Hospital in San Jose for treatment.
The adult male driver of the SUV, also from San Jose, remained at the scene and was cooperative with the investigation. He was determined NOT to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The female was released later in the evening and was able to go home after being treated for her non life threatening injuries.
