The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Central San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...
* Until 730 PM MDT.
* At 529 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain along and south of State Roads 104 and 419. Thunderstorms moving slowly to the south with rainfall rates in excess of one inch an hour.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Variadero, Trujillo and Trementina.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SAN MIGUEL
Instructions:
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Both localized and distant heavy rainfall will create sudden and dangerous flows in arroyos and over low water crossings.
