Over two years ago, on November 19, 2015 Snider’s Jewelry Store located at 339 North Main Street in Mercersburg, PA was robbed at the point of a hand gun. At that time, two males wearing dark hooded jackets, dark clothing, masks and gloves entered the store with three employees and two customers inside. The males announced the holdup, pointed the gun and stole $33,000 worth of jewelry.

The males then fled the store and entered a waiting automobile driven by a male who was also wearing a mask.

The Mercersburg Police are pleased to announce that after an extensive two-and-a-half-year investigation; an arrest has been made.
Evidence provided to the Franklin County Grand Jury led to a presentment on July 13, 2018, indicting Kevin Jade COMBS, b/m-40 formerly of the Bronx, NY. He has been arrested and charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Theft. He is currently lodged in the Franklin County Jail awaiting further court action.

The Mercersburg Police Department wishes to thank the multiple agencies that assisted in this investigation and especially Matt Fogal, Franklin County District Attorney and his office who aided in bringing the arrest to fruition. It is expected that there will be more arrests to follow.
