Press Release: NPD #2018-00019205 Intimidation Investigation/Arrest
On July 17, 2018 at approximately 12:35 a.m., police officers from the Noblesville Police Department were dispatched to the address of 516 S. 9th Street (Noblesville) in reference to a report of a welfare check. Officers arrived on the scene a short time later and reported that a person from inside the resident had allegedly pointed a firearm at them as they approached the residence.
A perimeter around the scene was immediately established and members of the Noblesville/Westfield Police Department Emergency Services Unit were dispatched to the scene. At approximately 4:10 a.m., crisis negotiators were able to successfully negotiate the surrender of the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on the following preliminary charge(s):

Level 6 Felony
This remains an ongoing investigation.
