The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces the scheduled closures of the connector ramps from northbound Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway) to eastbound and westbound Interstate 105 (Century – Glenn Anderson Freeway) to move K-rail and install landscaping. The closures are subject to change and are scheduled as follows:

The night of Wed., July 18, the night of Thursday, July 19, & the night of Fri., July 20:
·         From 10 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning.
·         The northbound I-405 connector ramps to eastbound and westbound I-105 closed.
·         The eastbound El Segundo on ramp to northbound I-405 closed.
 
These closures are scheduled for three separate nights and will re-open each morning at 5 a.m. The work will be complete at 5 a.m. Saturday, July 21.

Detour: traffic may exit northbound I-405 to westbound or eastbound Imperial Highway. Traffic on eastbound Imperial Highway can rejoin eastbound I-105 at the Freeman Ave. on ramp (east of Hawthorne Blvd.)
