On 07/18/18, the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force conducted directed enforcement throughout the city in response to the recent shootings. The effort resulted in two subjects being arrested for possession of a firearm. The Pomona Police Department is committed to providing a safe community for our citizens and we will continue to take a “Zero Tolerance” approach to anyone that illegally possesses a weapon.
