(Etowah County, Alabama) A Piedmont man has been arrested in connection to domestic violence, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Jimmy Lankford, 47, of Piedmont, is charged with one count of second degree domestic violence, which is a felony,” investigator VaShaunda Ragland said.

He allegedly assaulted a female victim by head-butting the victim during an altercation. The female sustained a fractured nose.

Lankford was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on $5,000 bond. As a condition of his bond, he is to have no contact or communication with the victim or the victim’s family.
