National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Bates County until 5:15pm.
At 4:46 p.m. a severe thunderstorm was located along a line extending from Raymore to near Peculiar to 6 miles southwest of Fulton, moving east at 45 mph
Hazards expected ping pong size hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph.
A weather watch indicates the potential for severe or damaging weather conditions.
