OSBI assistance requested in the death of a Newkirk woman 
At 1816 hours on Saturday July 21, 2018, Newkirk police department requested OSBI’s assistance with an assault of a woman at 514 W, 11th in Newkirk. Michelle JoInn Gentry, DOB 6/4/1965 was found with traumatic injuries by relatives. Gentry later died. On Sunday, officer arrested Brock Ryan Wilkins, DOB 9/24/1982 on a first degree murder complaint. The cause and manner of Gentry’s death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s office.
