Earthquake, Fire, Flood - are you ready?
Fire Department Disaster Preparation Presentation
Learn how to COPE (Citizens Organized to Prepare for Emergencies) when disaster strikes. Disaster can strike at any time. When they do, 911 emergency responders; Fire, Police, Medical, and Utility workers will be overwhelmed with calls. They may not be able to respond to you for hours or days. How will you and your family survive a serious event or disaster? The key to survival isn’t just what you know, but also what your neighbors know and how well you might be able to work together. Neighbors need to know how to work together, helping each other when no one else can. Working with your neighbors, having an emergency plan, and making a disaster survival kit will help you through almost every kind of crisis. Come learn what you need to be prepared and how you can host a training with your neighbors and how your local fire department can help. August 6th, 6-7:30pm at the Petaluma Community Center.
