Detective stops vehicle and finds meth and marijuana 
Detective Patrick Guion of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jack Douglas Whitehead, 47, of 541 Epley Drive in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, Guion stopped a white Ford Mustang off Zion Hill Road due to traffic violations.
Whitehead was an occupant of the vehicle.
A subsequent search turned up 11 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia that all belonged to the suspect.
