PEDESTRIAN MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
ROUTE 30 AND ROUTE 9 
On July 25th, 2018 at approximately 9:19pm patrol units were dispatched to the intersection of the White Horse Pike (Rt. 30) and Rt. 9 for a report of a motor vehicle crash between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian. The vehicle involved, a black 2003 Honda Civic, was travelling westbound on Rt 30 when it collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian was crossing the highway walking South across the intersection. The pedestrian sustained life threatening injuries from the collision.
Two westbound lanes of Rt. 30 were closed for approximately five hours while the crash was being investigated. The police department was assisted by Absecon EMS and the Absecon Fire Dept.
