At 344 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Newfield to near Millville to near
Woodland Beach. Movement was east at 15 mph.
Winds up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Vineland, Millville, Bridgeton, Smyrna, Buena, Laurel Lake, Clayton,
Newfield, Greenwich, Shiloh, Newport, Olivet, Malaga, Dividing Creek,
Fairton, Cedarville, Seabrook Farms, Fortesque, South Vineland and
Rosenhayn.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central and northern Delaware...and southern New Jersey.
