Two car accident with serious injuries occurred on 280 (South Cobb Drive) between Atlanta Road and Fairground Street. The accident is on the border of Marietta City and Cobb County jurisdiction. Cobb STEP unit has been notified and will work the auto accident. The drivers of both involved vehicles are being transported with injuries. Expect the road to be closed for atleast a few hours while Cobb PD STEP investigates the accident.
More information will be relased by both departments AFTER the accident investigation on scene is completed and the roadway is reopened.
