At approximately 1714 hours on July 29, 2018, OSBI’s assistance with a double homicide was requested by the Texas County District Attorney’s office. The victims were listed as Robert Prieto, DOB 10/19/1992 and Jesus Alfredo Alvarez Catalon, a.k.a. “Freddy”, DOB 10/7/1997. A DOB of 7/10/1995 was listed on Freddy’s green card. It is believed that Robert was struck and killed by a vehicle driven by Freddy. Freddy was then shot and killed by Robert’s brother, Rodney Prieto. Rodney was later apprehended by OSBI, the Drug Task Force, Texas County Sheriff's office and Guymon PD. Rodney, DOB 4/9/1994, was booked into jail on one county of first degree murder. Law enforcement reports will be turned over to the Texas County District Attorney’s office once the investigation is complete.
