Aggravated Robbery Suspect Arrest
UPDATED PRESS RELEASE
On 7/25/2018, the Red Oak Police Department released a press release about an aggravated robbery that occurred on 7/23/2018 and an arrest warrant had been issued for Wilson, Alondis for his alleged involvement in the offense. On Sunday morning (7/29/2018), the Red Oak Police Department was notified by the Duncanville Police Department that they had located Mr. Wilson at his residence and taken him into custody for the Felony Aggravated Robbery warrant without incident. On Monday (7/30/2018), Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigations personnel subsequently transferred Mr. Wilson to the Red Oak Police Department where he is currently being held and awaiting arraignment.
PRESS RELEASE
On 7/22/2018 at 19:28 hours, Red Oak Police Department personnel were dispatched to the 300 Block of Harvest Way in regards to a robbery that just occurred. The on duty dispatcher advised officers that the reporting person indicated that he was meeting with a subject that he met through the 5 mile application to purchase cellular phones. The subjects that met with the reporting person were described as two black males in their mid 20's: Suspect #1 was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts and was 6'00 / 200 pounds; Suspect #2 was last seen wearing a white tank top and was 5'07 /170 pounds. The reporting person advised that Suspect #2 pulled out a black handgun, took $800 in cash from the reporting person and the two subjects fled the scene on foot. Red Oak Police personnel searched the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the description of the suspects.
Through additional investigation, the Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigation Division has identified Suspect #2 as Wilson, Alondis Car B/M (19 YOA) of Duncanville, Texas and a warrant for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon has been issued for Mr. Wilson who is still currently at large.
The Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is continuing its investigation and attempting to identify the remaining suspect.
