SUMMARY:
On Monday, July 30, 2018 at 7:51 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department / Needles Police Department responded to Colorado River Medical Center reference a patient in the emergency room who was a victim of an assault. On July 26, 2018, Victor Lawrence physically prevented the victim from leaving their residence and assaulted her several times with his feet and a closed fists on her head and body. Lawrence wrapped a rope around the victim's neck and threatened to kill her causing the victim to fear for her life. Lawrence was arrested and booked into the Needles Jail for Assault with Great Bodily Harm, False Imprisonment, Felony Spousal Abuse with priors and is currently being held on $50,000.00 bond.
