Celebrate National Night Out in the Mission District on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5pm-9pm
Come join the City of San Gabriel and the Police Department in celebrating its 24th Annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The San Gabriel Police Department will be hosting the festivities in the historic Mission District located at 320 South Mission Drive (between Broadway and Santa Anita Street), where the entire community is invited to gather for an evening of food, music, and fun. Neighborhood Watch Groups are welcome to picnic at the event; hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks will also be provided.
Police, fire and military vehicles and equipment will be on display in addition to various public safety exhibits and presentations. There will also be City department informational booths, a live DJ, a bounce house, raffles and games for the children, along much more!
Members of the US Armed Forces, City leaders, local officials and community group representatives will also be participating in the event. Bring your families, neighbors and friends and join us for a night of fun.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood unity and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
