Reminder: The application deadline for our Citizen Police Academy is Friday, August 10th. 
The Crystal Lake Police Department is pleased to announce a Citizen Police Academy will be held this fall. The Citizen Police Academy is an eleven week program with meetings on Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm. Courses covered in the program include: Criminal Code, Patrol Operations, Vehicle Code, Communications, Crime Stoppers and much more. Interested participants must be 18 years of age or older. Applications are available for pick up Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm at the Crystal Lake Police Department, 100 W Woodstock Street or via the City website www.crystallake.org. Completed applications must be turned in by 7pm on August 10th. Class is expected to start on September 6, 2018.
