REMINDER: Hermosa Beach Police Department National Night Out Event
The Hermosa Beach Police Department will once again participate in National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Join us for this special 35th Anniversary of National Night Out, made possible in part by the generosity of Friends of the Parks.
WHAT: Free Movie and Picnic, featuring the Disney movie ZOOTOPIA
WHERE: Valley Park, 2521 Valley Drive
WHEN: August 7th 7PM - 10PM (movie begins at approx. 8:15PM)
WHY: National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie that help make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.
Come and enjoy a fun evening under the stars with your friends, family, and neighbors. They'll be free hotdogs, Kona Ice, s'mores and popcorn, along with giveaways and games. Remember to bring your refillable water bottles!
Don't miss this great opportunity that brings police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
If you'd like to participate in National Night Out, but are unable to attend, consider supporting this special 35th Anniversary, and send criminals a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back against crime, by illuminating your front porch with a blue light. If you're planning your own National Night Out event, be sure to share your photos using #HBPDNNO2018.
