On Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. the Avalon Sheriff’s Station on Catalina Island will be participating in National Night Out.  Stop by the Sheriff’s Station (215 Sumner Avenue, Avalon, Ca. 90704, on Catalina Island), to learn about crime prevention, see first responders’ safety equipment, and tour the Avalon Sheriff’s Station. <P>
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. <P>
