Thanks to tips from several helpful citizens officers were able to locate the dog.

Officers are looking for a dog that big a 4-year old child in the playground area of King Park at approximately 5:30 pm today (08/05). The dog is described as a 50-60 lb Pitbull, mostly white with a black spot on its back, black legs, and a black and white spotted tail. The child was in the area of the slide when the dog ran up and attacked him. The dog did not appear to have a collar. The child is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
