The National Weather Service in Anchorage has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Rivers and streams in the Susitna River basin due to heavy
  rainfall. This includes the Denali Highway area, and the Little
  Susitna at Hatcher Pass.

* Until 915 AM AKDT Wednesday

* At 920 AM AKDT, gauge reports indicated minor flooding due to
  heavy rainfall. The heaviest precipitation fell along the Denali
  Highway and Hatcher Pass, causing the Maclaren, Susitna at Denali
  Highway and the Little Susitna at Hatcher Pass to rise to bankfull
  stages.

* Other rivers in the basin including the Talkeetna, Willow, Little
  Susitna, Yentna, and Skwentna are below bankfull but will be
  rising throughout the day.

* Forecast precipitation across the Susitna River basin on Monday
  night and Tuesday will cause all rivers in the basin to continue
  to rise.

* Bankfull or minor flooding is likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
