LOCATION: Auto Club Speedway, Fontana
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, August 4, 2018, and Sunday, August 5, 2018, the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California hosted the 2018 Hard Summer Music Festival. Over 81,500 attended on Saturday and over 74,600 attended on Sunday. A total of twenty-three people were transported to local hospitals for various medical issues. A total of eleven people were arrested for various charges, primarily for drug offenses. A total of twenty-three people were transported to local hospitals for various medical issues. Two females remain hospitalized and are continuing to receive treatment.
On Sunday, August 5th, Andrew Cole Click, age 19 from Tracy, California, entered a medical tent at the festival seeking medical attention. Click was transported to a local area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased at 11:45 pm. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
