Our National Night Out will proceed as planned since the chance of thunderstorms have been reduced from the forecast. 
2018 Crystal Lake National Night Out
On Tuesday August 7th, 2018, the Crystal Lake Police Department will be hosting National Night Out, a nationwide event providing an opportunity for the community and local law enforcement to come together to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation.
The event will be held at Three Oaks Recreational Area, 5517 Northwest Highway, Crystal Lake. The event will start at 5PM and go to 8PM; admission and parking is FREE after 4:30PM. Planned activities include: free face painting, balloon twisting artist, Police and Fire/Rescue vehicles on display, Batmobile from Volo Auto Museum, kids’ games, and free gift bags given away while supplies last.
Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital will be providing free bicycle helmets and free bicycle helmet fittings while supplies last.
***Special crime fighting hero to make a surprise appearance!!!!
