The intersection of Hunt Highway and Bella Vista Road/Golf Club Drive will be closed to all traffic, except for emergency services, starting August 10th at approximately 9PM due to intersection pavement restoration work. The construction work will last throughout the weekend and through traffic is scheduled to resume by 4AM August 13th. The full closure will effectively reduce a longer duration of construction. Providing a limited through traffic access during construction would mean longer construction delays.
Hunt Highway between Red Road and Johnson Ranch Boulevard/Gantzel Road will open temporarily August 10th to provide access for Red Road residents, Rural Metro Fire, Allstate Self Storage and Johnson Utilities business access.
Also, starting August 13th surface paving will take place along Gantzel Rd from Hunt Highway to Omega Dr. There will be lanes restriction and work is estimated to last for three days. On August 16th surface paving will continue on Johnson Ranch Boulevard from Hunt Highway to Spur Dr. Please see attached map.
The completed construction sequence Phase 5A of Hunt Highway between Bella Vista Road and Gantzel Road will open to traffic August 24th.
