Evacuations Still In Effect for Paradise Valley and Gold Ridge Neighborhoods in Fairfield

Evacuations are still in effect for the Paradise Valley and Gold Ridge Neighborhoods. The progress of the fire has stopped, fire crews are in the process of making the areas safe for repopulation. The Fire Department does not have an estimated time when residents will be allowed back in.

The fire had moved over the ridge to the Gold Ridge Development. Residents of Hancock Drive and Hom Lane are being evacuated. The Evacuation Center at Fairfield High is open.
Cement Hill Road is closed between Peabody and Manuel Campos Drive.

Evacuations are continuing in the Paradise Valley Area. Fairfield PD is working with staff at senior living facilities to get residents evacuated from the area. An evacuation center is being set up at Fairfield High School for Fairfield residents.
Residents from the senior living centers are being taken to Fairfield High. People looking to pick up family members should go there.

There is currently a grass fire burning in the Paradise Valley area of Fairfield. Officers are evacuating homes on Constitution Avenue, Estates Drive, and Couples Circle near the Paradise Valley Golf Course. Anyone in that area is asked to leave immediately. All others are asked to avoid the area.
