On 08/14/18 at approximately 5:22 pm the Grosse Pointe Farms Department of Public Safety received information that a subject boating on Lake St. Clair had gone missing. The location given was between the Grosse Pointe Pier Park and the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. Immediately divers and search boats were called in to search for the missing subject known to be a male in his 60's. Search teams from the U.S. Coast Guard, Grosse Pointe Farms, Wayne County, Macomb County, and Detroit were all utilized to aid in the search. Missing subject was not located last night and the search will continue this morning.
