Traffic Notice - Repairs and Traffic Controls Moraga Road and St. Mary's Rd. (Mon-Fri) School is open drive safe. 
TRAFFIC NOTICE:
MORAGA ROAD: PG & E is doing repair work on Moraga Road at School Street Monday 8/20 – Friday 8/25 from 9am to 2pm. The Northbound direction will be down to one lane in this area, including School Street one lane to Moraga Road. Traffic controls in place.
Additional Road Work - ST.MARY'S RD,PG & E is continuing repair work on St. Mary’s Road with some portions down to one lane with traffic controls in place.
It is recommended to use alternate routes around these areas as traffic will be congested and you should expect delays.
SCHOOL IS OPEN!
Tuesday marks the first day of school for Lafayette Elementary Schools. Please remember to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks and slow down especially in school zones. Watch for children walking or riding bikes. Speeds are 25MPH in school zones.
Reminder when a school bus stops and flashing red lights are displayed. Children are loading and unloading. You are required to stop in both directions of travel.
The Lafayette Police will be visible at all schools and enforcing traffic laws around our schools as we work to keep our streets safe for kids.
