*UPDATE* Persons Detained #LASD Homicide Det Responding to Shooting Death Investn, 36500 blk of Rozalee Dr, Palmdale
Los Angeles County Sheriff Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult, which occurred on the 36500 block of Rozalee Drive in the city of Palmdale on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at approximately 11:14 pm.
Investigators have learned that two male Hispanic adults were involved in physical altercation, when an associate of both males feared for one of the individual’s safety. In order to defend him she fired one round at the victim, striking him in the lower torso. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The parties involved were detained shortly after the incident. There are no outstanding suspects. All three involved parties were acquaintances with each other. The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to investigate the circumstances involving the shooting death of a man that occurred on Saturday August 25, 2018 on the 36500 block of Rozalee drive in Palmdale.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
