HCSO Homicide Investigators Charge Man with Murder; Need Publics Help In Locating. 
On Saturday September 1, 2018, 2:16 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to an in-progress call at 17130 Market in East Harris County.
Upon arriving they discovered the victim, a 29 year old Edna McWorter deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
Deputies spoke with several witnesses that stated they observed the victim arguing with the suspect now identified as Jerry Wayne Greer, 38, pull out a handgun and shoot the victim one time in the chest.
Greer then fled the scene in a dark colored Ford Mustang.
The suspect is currently wanted on felony charges of domestic assault.
Murder charges have been accepted by the HCDA's Office and are currently being filed for the shooting death of McWorter.
