On Saturday afternoon Nala, a 3-year-old German Shepherd escaped from her backyard. Nala walked over to a local convenience store in the 3000 blocks of Travis Blvd where she visited with several customers. Unfortunately, after several minutes at the convenience store, a woman that does not own Nala loaded Nala into her vehicle and took her. Nala was wearing her identification tag with her owner's name and number at the time she was stolen. To date, no one has attempted to contact Nala’s owner in an effort to return her to her proper home.
