Vegetation fire near Emmigrant Gap, no threat to Truckee 
There’s is a vegetation fire burning near Emigrant Gap, west of Donner Summit in the Tahoe National Forest that is sending smoke to the east. Currently there is no threat to the Truckee area. As always, we recommend that everyone be prepared for wildfire and potential evacuations. For more information, visit readyforwildfire.org
