Dr. Albert Bean School – E. 4th Avenue Parking & Traffic Regulations
Last year, in an effort to ease the traffic issues caused in part by the arrival and dismissal of students from the Dr. Albert M. Bean School, the roadway was widened to accommodate street parking and uninterrupted one-way traffic flow. The parking regulations have not changed and remain;
- Borough Code 8-11 “Stopping or Standing Prohibited During Certain Hours on Certain Streets”
- Wright Avenue and E. 4th Avenue opposite side of Dr. Albert Bean SchoolVehicles shall not park and shall not stop or stand to release passengers
- Violation of N.J.S.A. 39:4-138g
- Also a violation of N.J.S.A. 39:4-135 (improper parking on one-way street)
- Borough Code 8-15 “Parking Prohibited During Certain Hours on Certain Streets”
- Wright Avenue and E.4th Avenue same side of Dr. Albert Bean School
- This area is clearly marked as Student Drop Off and Pick-Up Only
- Parents/Guardians cannot leave the vehicle unattended. You may remain in or with your vehicle to release passengers in the morning and then proceed from the area. Parents/Guardians may remain with the vehicle during the afternoon pick up until the student enters the vehicle, then proceed from the area.

ALL TRAFFIC AND PARKING REGULATIONS ORDINANCED
MONDAY – FRIDAY 8:00am – 4:00pm WHEN SCHOOL IS IN SESSION
On May 18, 2015, Pine Hill Mayor and Council approved Ordinance 2015-928 amending Borough Code 8-37.1 to include two (2) handicapped parking spaces on Wright Avenue at the driveway to the Dr. Albert Bean School. The spaces have been clearly marked in accordance with all applicable regulations.

- Violation of N.J.S.A. 39:4-138o (unauthorized parking in a handicapped space)
All traffic is to enter Wright Avenue from E. 5th Avenue or Kayser Avenue. Both Wright Avenue and E. 4th Avenue are ONE WAY towards Erial Road from E. 5th Avenue.
Parents are to drop-off and pick-up their children in the designated areas. Vehicles MAY PARK on the Dr. Albert Bean School side of Wright Avenue up to the “NO PARKING” area. Vehicles MAY NOT PARK on Wright Avenue on the opposite side of the Dr. Albert Bean School or in the posted area on E. 4th Avenue. Parents may also park on E. 4th Avenue past the No Parking area and walk back to the school to watch their children prior to them being led into school.
